Learning to get creative...

Some more shots from the previous post! They primarily just wanted a group photo of all the cousins, so we didn't do much shooting with individuals. Plus, the kiddos were all anxious to play and eat, so I'm glad I took a few shots between the chaos. =oP Thanks to post-editing, I was still able to capture a few nice headshots.

Growing Family...

What a cute family! When one of the Mom's told me she wasn't expecting to get a picture without someone crying and/or someone's finger up their nose, I was a little worried! I'll admit, it was challenging to get 10 young ones into the poses I had in mind originally, but we still got some fun shots!

Neil & Leslie

I photographed this lovely couple last Fall, which is what initially re-lit my photography fire! I had *almost* forgotten how much I loved it. I could have spent many more hours out with them, we had lots of fun and were enjoying all the beautiful scenery!

Cliques by Kelli - My Story

Let the fun begin! I celebrated my birthday this week, a new decade to look forward to, a new chapter to write...

I've wanted to return to my photography roots for so long, and the timing finally feels right. Hallelujah! I'm so excited to dive back into the world of arts, and I look forward to creating timeless, magical, real-life images for those near and dear to me, as well for future clients (who will hopefully become a part of my family as well).

Just a quick introduction to my name, "Cliques by Kelli"...

I tend to come up with "corny" things, so bear with me. I wanted something unique and catchy for a business I've envisioned for quite some time now. At this point, I am just beginning! Photography seemed to be the obvious place to start. Eventually, I would like to grow into a photography, catering, and event planning business - all of which can work great separately, but can also be combined for an all-inclusive experience! The reason I chose "cliques" is because each of these areas typically involve tight-knit groups of people.

Because people and relationships are such a huge part of life in general, and because they play such a huge role in my life, personally, I wanted to create a business that would fulfill and capture the memories created in everyones "Cliques" for many years to come.

As I am in the early stages of building my business and am brushing up on my photography skills, I encourage you to book a session as soon as possible to take advantage of AWESOME savings! Please send me an email if you are interested in learning about my current specials at CliquesbyKelli@gmail.com. Thanks a bunch!

I will soon be posting a sampling of my work and will continue to update this blog often!
